Sanary-sur-Mer
A fishing village that is still a fishing village, Sanary-sur-Mer is a place of many charms. It's impossible not to be amused by the brightly painted dinghies and what people have named them. Every morning there's a bustling market on the harbor. The old city center is pedestrian-only, beckoning the visitor with shopping streets that are very lively, especially in summer.

Le Castellet
As you stroll through the cobblestone streets of Le Castellet you may very well think, "Now this is what you come to France for!" Medieval buildings, cheerily-painted wooden shutters and abundant flowers frame the many boutiques spilling over with local handicrafts and pretty terraces where you can enjoy the delightful surroundings and a refreshment. From arched openings in the ancient wall there are great vistas of the countryside.

Bandol
The sandy beaches of the town of Bandol are the perfect spot to let kids run around and swim while the adults work on their tan. Stroll around the harbour or in town, where the Provençal charm reveals itself in fountains, town squares shaded by trees, stylish cafès, the occasional historic villa from the Belle Epoque, and lots of window boxes overflowing with flowers.

If you take pleasure in sampling local wine you will want to dawdle on a terrace to enjoy a glass of Bandol wine. Besides being extremely lovely to the eye, the Bandol region is one of Provence’s most internationally recognized wine-producing areas.
